Why trying to protect freedom may work better than campaigning to protect democracy

This an interesting article, indicating that democracy inst really a core value of partisans in the USA. The concept of 'freedom' appeals more, and the Harris campaign has utilized the topic/phrase to shift the debate with Republicans, rather than the usual challenge to Trump and his supporters over the January 6th insurrections 'anti-democratic' status.

 I also watched this video. Very popular view but feels very undemocratic that due to the red/blue state nature of the American electoral college, Georgians and Pennsylvanians have the most power in this election, and their needs will likely be prioritized by both presidential camps. 

 

This US election is shaping up to be very close, maybe between 1-3 seats close. Perhaps some congressional district surprises in Maine or Nebraska could be an overlooked method to victory for either candidate.
